Attend a Fundraising Event

Plan on spending the day with your family and helping The Arc by attending the Family Fun Tailgate Party on September 20, 2008 at Maize Valley Farms in Hartville, Ohio.

You and your family will enjoy an afternoon of fun and games… take a risk of making it out of the corn maze, enjoy pumpkin launching, and visit The Arc tent to bid on silent auction items and sample traditional tailgate food.

Gifts Galore! 2008- November 1-2, 2008 - Whipple Dale Centre

The annual “Gifts Galore!” shopping extravaganza and craft show will be held on Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2 at Whipple-Dale Centre in Plain Township.  This two-day event features over 70 crafters and vendors, raffles, lunch counter and sale in the Gift Garden.  Holiday music, a bake sale and book sale are also part of this busy weekend!  The Arc is now accepting applications for crafters, vendors and home-based businesses.

Grape Possibilities - Date and Time TBA

Grape Possibilities is an elegant wine tasting event held at the Cultural Center in downtown Canton featuring specialty wines and beers from Northeast Ohio wineries and breweries. 

Awareness Dinner - March 2008 - McKinley Grand Hotel

Each year, The Arc celebrates National Metal Retardation and Developmental Disabilities month with a dinner featuring a keynote speaker who either has a disability or has a strong ties to the disability community. 

Basket Raffle & Auction featuring The Arc’s Angels Fashion Show

This annual fundraising event features local children and adults with developmental disabilities modeling beautiful clothing to a theme.  This event also offers guests to an exciting evening with beautiful raffle baskets, unique silent auction items, a fantastic dining certificate raffle, dinner and much, much more! 

Night at the Races

Proceeds from this event are used to help support the Arc's Adult Weekend Camp for adults with developmental disabilities.  Held each November at St. Joseph's Church in Canton, Guest are treated to a steak dinner, a reverse raffle and fun and games.
