Camps for Kids and Adults

The Arc’s Summer Camp Program

Attention parents and guardians!  Looking for a great summer camp opportunity for your child?  The Arc offers a fun and safe summer day camp for school-age children with developmental disabilities at Baylor Beach Park in Navarre.  Sign your child up for one, two, three or four weeks of summer fun!  Great recreational and social activities for school-age children with MR/DD with experienced staff and nursing care.  Camp hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.  Cost is $185 per week and transportation will be provided.  The summer program will begin on Monday, July 6 and will run through Friday, July 31, 2009.

A weekend of camping fun for adults with disabilities!

Held at Camp Muskingham in Carrollton, Ohio, this weekend is specifically designed for the adults in our community with developmental disabilities.  Campers enjoy two days of crafts, fishing, games, magic shows and more!  This is a great social and recreational opportunity for men and women with disabilities.  Cost for participants is $65—all participants must be ambulatory.  The weekend camp will be held on June 12, 13, and 14, 2009 and transportation will be provided.
