Advocacy and Quality Assurance

Residential Service Monitoring

Through a contract with Stark MRDD, the Arc conducts quality assurance reviews for individuals with developmental disabilities receiving Medicaid Waiver Services.  Our trained staff objectively review their homes to ensure health and safety.  We also conduct personal interviews with the individuals to determine their level of satisfaction with their services.

Advocacy

The Arc serves as an advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.  Our expert staff understand the laws and regulations that protect the rights of families of both school aged children and of the adult population.  Our advocates will meet with you, will attend important meetings with you and will advocate on your behalf.
